Cinnamon Red held its Associates’ Quarterly Meeting for the fourth quarter of 2018/19 at the hotel’s Flavoured restaurant on Tuesday, 9 April. The meeting was held to reward and recognise individuals who have gone beyond the call of duty.

Pradeepan Ramasamy from Front Office was awarded the Associate of the Quarter, Front of House award, while Buddhika Nuwan from Engineering was awarded the Associate of the Quarter, Back of House award. Nominees in these categories were Chaminda Guawardena from Kitchen and Chaminda Kumara from Housekeeping, respectively.

In addition, Lahesh Fernando from Finance received the Champion of the Year award, while Shamil Perera from Finance received the Employee of the Year award. The nominees for Champion of the Year were Nuwan Gunaratne from Engineering, Suranga Demansalage from Kitchen and Mohamed Zakeen from Housekeeping. The nominees for Employee of the Year were Kumuthan Mariapillai from Finance, Rodney Anthony from Front Office, Jancolan Fernando from Housekeeping, Sanesh De Mel from Sales, Stefano Anthonypillai from Sales, and Asangi Wickramaratne from Human Resources.

All winners received their awards from General Manager Terrence Fernando.
