The Annual Convocation of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (CA Sri Lanka), which is the most anticipated event in the institute’s academic calendar, will be held on Monday, 1 October under the patronage of Minister of Industry and Commerce Rishad Bathiudeen and Securities and Exchange Commission of Sri Lanka Chairman Ranel Wijesinha.
The 2018 Convocation which will be held at BMICH, Colombo will witness the graduation of over 320 students, who will receive the distinguished Associate Membership (ACA) of CA Sri Lanka after completing the institute’s benchmark chartered accounting professional program.
During the convocation, over 150 existing members of the institute, will be conferred with the prestigious Fellow (FCA) status.
Chartered Accountants of CA Sri Lanka are known as a brand of unique and versatile professionals, with the ability to steer any business successfully. They are sought after both locally and globally, for their professional integrity, exceptional technical and perceptive skills, as well as financial discipline and out of the box thinking, which helps them add value to the organisation they serve for.
The portfolio of CA Sri Lanka members comprise of Chairmen, Partners, Managing Directors, Vice Presidents, CEOs and CFOs among other high profile designations, who serve across top corporates in Sri Lanka and outside Sri Lanka.
