Acclivity Training announces the launch of Budgeting for Non-Finance Managers, the first in a series of pioneering programs for Sri Lanka’s business community on 1 August.
Acclivity Training will enable middle managers to meet critical business needs by delivering targeted learning opportunities that create high performing teams. They have a wealth of theoretical and practical knowledge in building high performing teams and aim to provide comprehensive training that will strengthen core capabilities and build knowledge driven, versatile organisations. At an individual level, they aim to empower participants to use their newly gained knowledge and capabilities to advance their careers and realise their full potential. At an organisational level, Acclivity Training will deliver pertinent bespoke programs relevant to local businesses, with a global perspective, in Sri Lanka.
Acclivity Training’s resource personnel are locally astute and highly qualified, with a thorough and up-to-date expertise in their subjects. They will partner with managers and leaders of successful organisations, to add practical insights and provide participants with opportunities to discuss and learn from real life challenges in implementation.
Behind this initiative are two well-known educationalists:
Dr. T.B. Andarawewa, an established academic, who specialises in Human Resource Management and Organisation Behaviour, Business Studies and Entrepreneurial Skills Development. He holds a PhD and a Master’s degree in Public Administration. Dr. Andarawewa has held several senior positions including that of the Dean of the Faculty of Management Studies, Rajarata University of Sri Lanka.
Dr. Chintha Dissanayake, a Chartered Occupational Psychologist and Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society, specialises in Talent Assessment and Development in the workplace. She has partnered national and international organisations to identify individual and team development needs to enhance organisational effectiveness. She holds an MSc Occupational Psychology, a PhD in Selection and Assessment and an MA in Law and Employment Relations.
