The 16th Annual Conference of AAT Sri Lanka is scheduled for 15 and 16 October at the Hotel Galadari, Colombo.
The theme will be ‘Stepping up: Role of an Interpreter to Influencer’, an appropriate topic in the context of an accountant’s future role, which will greatly benefit participants. Stimulating technical sessions have been planned to coincide with the substance and significance of the theme, and will be presented by eminent resource personnel on 16 October.
The topics that will be discussed at the technical sessions are ‘Economic trends that make waves’, ‘The accountant as the first line of defence’, ‘Culture as an influencer for strategic success’, and ‘A new era of taxation in Sri Lanka’.
The conference will facilitate the exchange of profound expertise of 16 resource personnel in chosen fields and expects to attract over 500 participants.
Participating in the conference is believed to add value to knowledge and shape up skills on many aspects demanded by both the profession and the personality of the expected participants. The conference also serves as a platform to network with the AAT Sri Lanka fraternity.
