AAT Business School, the higher education arm of AAT Sri Lanka, celebrated recently its Annual Award Ceremony 2018/2019. Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission Deputy Director General Janaka Jayalath graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The event was full of glitz and glamour with award winners and achievers representing various public, private and corporate sectors.
The prize winners received accolades in acknowledgment of their achievements in a wide variety of programs such as the Management Development Program, Computerised Accounting, Microsoft Office Applications, and Effective English Communication for Professionals and the Course in Taxation. Over 290 students received their certificates adding value to capacity of their performance in the respective fields.
As the centre of excellence for executive development, AAT Business School has paved the path for continuous education of AAT students and members by launching a Higher Diploma in Accounting and Finance with a pathway to a reputed degree qualification.
Today the Higher Diploma in Accounting and Finance is a very popular program among AAT passed finalists and other professionals alike, leading the business school to partner with NICD Polgolla to offer the program at their location as well. AAT Business School has entered into a number of strategic partnerships with many foreign, local universities and professional institutes and as a result a Diploma in IT and a Diploma in English will be launched in the near future.
Chief Guest Janaka Jayalath emphasised the need for students to acquire qualifications making use of the facilities provided by the AAT Business School.
The Annual Awards Ceremony of the AAT Business School was concluded successfully marking another important milestone in the history of the AAT Business School.
