Strategic training and consultation are keys to sustainable corporate building. Organisations worldwide are increasingly focusing on skill development and employee engagement, while looking out for creative ways of doing it. Pioneers in training and consultancy in Sri Lanka, 361 Degrees Ltd. marked the year 2018 as the best year for the company in terms of growth, revenue and innovative outreach.
In 2018 alone, 361 Degrees conducted 246 programs over a course of 320 days for 84 clients in 14 different locations with the utilisation of a total of 766 facilitator days. The company recorded a growth of 24% year on year. As Sri Lanka’s largest training and consultancy firm, 361 Degrees is well known for defying the odds and challenging boundaries, fuelled by a passion for experimentation and invention, which make up the organisation’s DNA. A large part of the portfolio consists of long-standing clients who have repeatedly approached them with various consultancy needs and 361 Degrees has reciprocated with innovative and customised training programs.
One noteworthy program was a novel team building experience that was conducted for Lion Brewery. Spanning a period of 12 training days, the team ranging from factory to Ex Co level underwent an outbound training in Dambulla. The activities included hiking, kayaking, 4x4 challenge, a CSR initiative as well as an exciting fireball hockey game. The teams collaborated to create a video that depicted the true essence of the brand’s theme song.
2018 also saw 361 Degrees celebrate the completion of 1500 team building programs, the only one of its kind in Sri Lanka to do so, and the launch of a New Innovation Program.
“Our intellectual curiosity has kept us ahead of the market for over a decade and has helped us secure the position we currently hold as Sri Lanka’s leading training service provider. The past year is a testament of the tenacity and innovative spirit of 361 Degrees. We have always worked hard to secure the trust of our clients, by making it clear to them that we at 361 Degrees have their organisation’s best interests at heart. 2018 was no different. Instead of succumbing to the pressures the business sector was facing we maintained our driving momentum, pushed forward and let the results speak for us. At one point we even conducted 5 parallel programs a day,” stated Rukmal De Silva, the Chief Visionary Officer of 361 Degrees.
The services of 361 Degrees Ltd. include: team building, training, experiential communications, leadership development, employee engagement, strategy, measurement & psychometrics, ARS quizzes & surveys, innovation solutions, business simulations and Learnimon. The organisation proudly serves over 270 local and international clients.
