A nine-member Sri Lankan business delegation will visit Pakistan from 6 to 9 April in a bid to explore trade and investment opportunities.
The delegation, led by the Sri Lanka-Pakistan Business Council of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce, will also take part in the textile sector specific exhibition ‘TeXpo 2016,’ which will be held at the Karachi Expo Centre.
The delegation to Pakistan will be led by the Minister of Industry and Commerce Rishard Bathiudeen.
The Lankan businessmen, apart from attending the ‘Texpo 2016,’ are also expected to hold B2B meetings with their Pakistani counterparts.
An MOU will be signed between the Sri Lanka-Pakistan Business Council and the Pakistan-Sri Lanka Business Council to enhance trade and investment between the two nations.
Sri Lanka-Pakistan Business Council President Rohitha Thilakaratne will lead the delegation and Ceylon Chamber of Commerce Assistant Secretary General Cherryl Rodrigo will accompany the business delegates on behalf of the Chamber Secretariat.
