Smart Media – The Annual Report Company has bagged its highest ever tally of 67 awards for its clients from across six countries at one of the world’s top annual report competitions.
The League of American Communications Professionals (LACP) Vision Awards 2011 made the official announcement last morning. Yet again, Smart Media has placed Sri Lankan talent, skill and entrepreneurship firmly in the global arena.
Three of Smart Media’s Annual Reports were ranked in the list of top 100 Annual Reports worldwide. Smart Media also had two of its Annual Reports ranked in the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) top 50 in addition to six of its Annual Reports being ranked in the Asia Pacific top 50.
Smart Media’s haul of 67 awards included five Platinum Awards, 13 Gold Awards and 11 Silver Awards. Smart Media continues to deliver premium value to its clientele in Sri Lanka, as evidenced by 22 of its annual reports being included in LACP’s list of Sri Lanka’s top 25.
This year, LACP has attracted over 5,500 entries from more than 25 countries in one of the world’s two largest and most prestigious competitions for annual reports.
To celebrate Smart Media’s global success in a fitting manner, the company will be organising an international event in Colombo at which the Governor of Central Bank of Sri Lanka Ajith Nivard Cabraal will be the Chief Guest.
Smart Media’s prestigious clientele, which comprises some of the foremost companies and government organisations in the countries that it operates in, will be felicitated at this event.
Through such sustained international recognition and reward, Smart Media’s team of some 50 Sri Lankan professionals have proven that they are more than capable of standing shoulder-to-shoulder with the crème de la crème of annual report professionals globally.
Smart Media has business in Bahrain, Hong Kong, Oman, Qatar, Sri Lanka and the UAE.
