A team of urban planners from Surbana International has arrived in Colombo. The Singaporean experts will work with the Megapolis planning committee to draft a plan for the Government’s ambitious Western Region Megapolis Project. The project will turn a large section of the island’s Western Province into a modern metropolis with strong transport corridors and planned spaces for industry, commerce, housing, education and recreation.
