Tourism industry leader Shiromal Cooray has been appointed to the Board of Commercial Bank Plc as a Non-Executive Independent Director.
Shiromal is the Managing Director of Jetwing Travels and the Chairperson of the Sri Lanka Institute of Directors. She also serves on the Advisory Council for Tourism.
She has obtained a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Colombo and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
She has held several key positions at J. Walter Thompson, the Travel Agents Association of Sri Lanka and the Sri Lanka Association of Inbound Tour Operators.
