SEC’s Investment Day show today at BMICH

The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) organised Investment Day will be held today from 8.30 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Sirimavo Bandaranaike Memorial Exhibition Centre.



The event will be a showcase of capital market of Sri Lanka via an exhibition and seminars. Listed companies on the Colombo Stock Exchange, stock brokers and unit trusts will be having stalls.

They will showcase investment opportunities whilst a host of one hour seminars for students and public will be held throughout the day imparting valuable insights to investing in capital markets. Visitors will also have an opportunity to witness the open outcry system of the CSE.

Economic Development Minister Basil Rajapakse and Deputy Finance Minister Dr. Sarath Amunugama are scheduled to officiate at the ceremonial opening of Investment Day.
