THE Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) will hold a highly useful Investment Day for the general public especially students on 26 October at the Sirimavo Bandaranaike Convention Hall.
The full day programme starting from 8.30 a.m. to 6 p.m. will showcase listed companies on the Colombo Stock Exchange.
The public will have the opportunity to select and discuss investment opportunities with stock broking companies, opening of CDS accounts, meet unit trust management companies, explore investment prospects in unit trusts, meet Colombo Stock Exchange officials as well as witness a staged “open outcry system.”
SEC also plans to hold an educational seminar titled “How to invest” at the premises on the Investment Day.
