Sampath Bank dispensed a whopping Rs. 12 billion through its ATM network from 1 to 12 April.
Being the first bank to have introduced a revolutionised ATM network in Sri Lanka, Sampath Bank has been constantly recognised for its relentless commitment towards innovation and customer convenience.
This figure of ATM transactions is a strong justification of the ease of electronic transaction services offered to Sampath customers as the Sinhala and Tamil New Year festivities drew near.
Sampath Bank was among the highest recorded banks in the country, in terms of transactions dispensed in just 12 days for the month of April 2016. On average, Sampath Bank records a total value of Rs. 1 billion dispensed in a single day whereas the value of withdrawals dispensed on 10, 11 and 12 April accumulated to over Rs. 3.6 billion, marking the readily acceptance of Sampath’s ATM network being a trusted source that serves its customers the ease of access during the season.
This is a testament of Sampath Bank’s commitment towards its customers and the responsibility it bestows in the day to day lives of the people across the country, whilst further enhancing the value of technology, increasing the capacity and reliability of its ATM network.
Understanding the many requirements of dynamic segments of customers, Sampath Bank recently increased its daily withdrawal value limit from Rs. 80,000 to Rs. 100,000. The bank further strengthened its ATM network by joining LankaPay, the largest ATM network which enables Sampath Bank customers and patrons of member banks of LankaPay with access to over 3,000 ATM’s islandwide whilst also linking the services of UnionPay International, which is among the largest card networks in the world that facilitates UnionPay cardholders the option of withdrawing desired amounts whilst also obtaining balance inquiries via any Sampath Bank ATM available island-wide.
Furthermore, Sampath Bank’s ATM network operates as a convenient one stop ATM that boasts many services and provides Sampath customers with the ease they require. Some of these services include utility bill payments, mobile cash facilities, credit card settlements, balance inquires, mini account statement requisition, PIN change and fast cash withdrawals.
