Rupee dips

The rupee yesterday closed at Rs 127.00, down by around 20 cents despite gaining to an intraday high of Rs 126.45 during early hours of trade on the back of thin volumes.

The total USD/LKR volume for the previous working day (21-12-12) was US $ 57.03 million.
