Top industry leaders and experts will give their feedback and thoughts to Finance Minister Ravi Karunanayake at a pre-budget forum organised jointly by the Daily FT and the MBA Alumni Association University of Colombo
on Monday.
Academics and business leaders will draw from their practical experience of Budget 2016 to give suggestions to the Finance Minister on crucial proposals to be included in Budget 2017 that is to be presented in Parliament on 10 November.
Titled ‘Review and Redefine’, the forum aims to provide insights into policies needed for crucial sectors and will also include a presentation on the outcome of 2016 tax proposals by PricewaterhouseCoopers. Access to the event is by invitation only.
