Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe will leave to Japan tonight on a State visit on the invitation of his Japanese counterpart Shinzō Abe.
During the trip spanning five days, Wickremesinghe accompanied by Mrs. Wickremesinghe will meet Japanese Premier and other Government Ministers and officials to further strengthen bilateral economic, trade, investment technology and cultural cooperation.
In Tokyo he will also have discussions with Japan External Trade Organisation apart from attending a seminar, Japan Sri Lanka Business Cooperation Committee and Japan Sri Lanka Parliamentarians League.
He will visit Kyoto to address the Science and Technology Society Forum, of which Chairman is Premier Abe.
Foreign Minister Mangala Samaraweera, Finance Minister Ravi Karunanayake, Technology, Technical Education and Employment Minister Susil Premajayantha, Secretary to Prime Minister Saman Ekanayake, Additional Secretary Saman Athaudahetti , Special Assistant to Prime Minister Sandra Perera will be among the Sri Lankan delegation.
