Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe accompanied by Prof. Maithree Wickremesinghe will be visiting Japan from 10 April to 16 April.
During this visit, the Prime Minister will hold a meeting with Prime Minister of Japan Shinzo Abe, followed by several other engagements.
The Government of Japan has announced that they are looking forward to the visit which they believe will serve to further strengthen the friendly relations between Japan and Sri Lanka.
The Prime Minister will be accompanied by Minister of Special Assignments Dr. Sarath Amunugama, Minister of Development Strategies and International Trade Malik Samarawickrama, MP Prof. Ashu Marasinghe, Secretary to the Prime Minister Saman Ekanayake, Additional Secretary to the Prime Minister Saman Athaudahetti and Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Sandra Perera on this visit.
