Pensioners can now receive their monthly pension disbursements directly to their mobile wallet, following an innovative partnership between the country’s largest mobile money network, eZ Cash, and the Department of Pensions.
The groundbreaking partnership empowers any pensioner connected to the Dialog, Etisalat or Hutch mobile networks to receive a self-defined portion of their pension to their mobile phone.
Pensioners can now enable this service by submitting the relevant authorisation documents to the Department of Pensions.
The pensioner is empowered to request up to Rs. 25,000 from their pension to be remitted instantly to their eZ Cash account.
