Shares of PC Pharma Pvt. Ltd. will trade on the Diri Savi Board of the Colombo Stock Exchange from 19 January, a stock exchange filling said.
The pharmaceutical company, which is to list 101 million shares on the Colombo Stock Exchange through an introduction, has plans of setting up a manufacturing plant in Kurunegala.
The company markets a wide range of internationally reputed medicines, bio medical devices, medical equipment, nutraceuticals and cosmetics augmented by value added services.
It represents internationally reputed brands such as Square Pharmaceuticals Ltd. – Bangladesh, Braun Dialysis Products – Germany, Celia Infant and Maternal Nutrition Lactis International France, EZ Smart Blood Glucose Monitoring System, Tyson Bioresearch Inc Taiwan and Aurochem Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd. – India.
The company made sales of Rs. 506.9 million in the year ending 31 March 2011 when profits notched Rs. 103.3 million and in the six months to 30 September 2011 sales of Rs. 323.8 million and profits of Rs. 82.6 million.
Return on Equity was 112.75% in the Financial Year 2011 and 44.75% in the six months to September 2011. PC House’s market capitalisation is Rs. 2.97 billion, 0.13% of the total market capitalisation of the Colombo market.
PCH Holdings has an 86.62% stake in the company whose Chairman Saheed Hijiry Mohamed Rishan is the principal shareholder. Other Directors include Sithy Rishan, Mushtaq Ahamed Ikram, Ramasamy Selvaraj, Prasanna Wijesekera and Shathi Sri Nandi Gooneratne. PC House Pvt. Ltd., an IT solutions specialist, is the flagship company of the group.
