Information and Communication Technology Agency (ICT Agency) of Sri Lanka has taken steps to enable the public to know lottery results through the Government Information Centre (1919).
ICTA says that as a first step in this, it will be possible for the public to know the winning numbers disclosed by the Development Lottery Board. Action is being taken to provide in the future information about results of other lotteries as well, ICTA of said. ICTA says further that in the future, it will be possible for the public to have this information through the official website of the Government Information Centre as well.
The agency says that by now steps have been taken to provide to the public about 2000 Government services of about 200 Government institutions through the Government Information Centre (1919).
According to ICTA sources currently the number of calls from the public received at the Government Information Centre per month exceeds 120,000.
