Kudos from Bangladesh

Congratulating Sri Lanka for organising the mega scale Expo, Bangladeshi Minister of Industries Dilip Barua stated that both Sri Lanka and Bangladesh had good prospects for development and growth in the future.

“With high economic growth in 2011, targets set for better developments and plans underway, the countries will be able to achieve its expectations,” he said.                   



Noting that Bangladesh is currently in a transitional period and moving towards industrial growth, Barua stated that both countries had enjoyed long years of cultural links, now backed and enhanced by economic activities. He noted that human capital was the main tool to develop in the present economic scenario.  

“I think Sri Lanka has a done a good job in organising this. On behalf of our Government, I would like to congratulate you for arranging such a beautiful event. I hope you would organise more such events in the future.”
