Inflation rate slows to 24-month low in Feb.

Reuters: The annual inflation rate eased to a 24-month low of 4.2% in February from 4.4% in January, the Department of Census and Statistics said on Friday. Annual average inflation, measured on a 12-month moving basis, fell to a 19-month low of 6.0% in February from 6.5% a month earlier. In May last year it had hit a record high of 8.8%.
