The Central Bank of Sri Lanka has appointed The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Ltd. – Colombo Branch Office (HSBC) as a Primary Dealer in Government Securities.
The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Ltd. is expected to commence its activities as a Primary Dealer in Government Securities on 14 October 2013.
