HNB’s deep discount debenture issue up for grabs

The Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) has approved in principle an application submitted by Hatton National Bank (HNB) for the listing of its debentures on the CSE’s debt securities main board to raise Rs. 3 billion. Investors can subscribe to the issue from today whilst its official opening is on 23 August.The HNB issue consists of 20 million unsecured, senior, redeemable debentures, with an option to issue up to a further 10 million debentures in the event the initial offer is oversubscribed, with a face value of Rs. 100.00, each at a discounted issue price of Rs. 67.715. Manager to the issue is Capital Alliance Partners Ltd. and registrar is SSP Corporate Services.
