Newly appointed Deputy Chairman Ashok Pathirage yesterday bought 1 million shares of 0.6% stake of NDB Bank for Rs. 135 million. He becomes the biggest shareholding director on the Board of NDB, controlled by state institutions.
The investment comes hot on the heels of Pathirage who is also Chairman of Softlogic Holdings investing Rs. 250 million in buying his own company shares since it was listed on the CSE.
