Commercial High Court orders Serene Pavillions status quo to stay as it as

The Commercial High Court Judge M.C.B.S. Morais on Tuesday Monday had ordered the parties involved in the dispute over the luxury resort in Kalutara Serene Pavilions to maintain the status quo as it is until 27 September. His ruling was on the basis till the Court determines the question of eligibility to represent the first respondent i.e. Serene Pavilions in the case filed by Gamini Neththikumara, one of the Directors of Serene over the raging dispute on shareholding. Judge Morais said initial application of the petitioner could be considered in due course on or after the notice returnable date which is fixed for 27 September 2013. He also called for objections in respect of the application made by the 8th respondent in this case Gamini Neththikumara on the same date i.e. 27 September 2013.
