Ceylon Chamber to conduct seminar on Budget

The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce will hold a post-Budget seminar at the end of this month to discuss the 2015 National Budget, which will be presented in Parliament on 24 October. As is customary each year, the Chamber will line up top Government officials, senior tax consultants and corporate executives as panellists to brief private sector operational staff on all aspects of the conditions stipulated in 2015 Budget, during the seminar, which will be held on 30 October. The panellists will include Ceylon Chamber of Commerce Tax Committee Chairman Duminda Hulangamuwa, Inland Revenue Department Acting Commissioner General R.M.R.W. Manchanayake, Inland Revenue Department Senior Commissioner Dhammika Gunatilaka, Senior Partner of Gajma and Company N. R. Gajendra and Aitken Spence Plc Chief Financial Officer Nilanthi Sivapragasam. Prior to the panel discussion, a senior official of the Inland Revenue Department will deliver a presentation under the title ‘Taxation Proposals of Budget 2015’.
