Basil to give Tourism Awards today

ECONOMIC Development Minister Basil Rajapaksa will be the chief guest at the glittering and important Sri Lanka Tourism Awards 2010 today from 5 p.m. onwards at the Waters Edge.

The event is significant in the context that 2010 marks the first full year of operation for tourism, which has boomed since the defeat of terrorism in May 2009.
