Apple opens iTunes store in Sri Lanka

Sri Lanka is one of the Asian countries where Apple has decided to open an iTune store to sell music, videos and movies.

Apple has opened 12 iTunes locations in Asia so far.



The company said yesterday that it will open iTunes stores also in Singapore, Macau, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, Brunei, Cambodia and Laos.

With the opening of an iTune store iPhone, iPad, iPod, Mac and PC users will be able to choose from among more than 20 million songs, from local and international artists, as well as buy and rent movies from the new iTunes stores across Asia, the company said today in a statement.
