The American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) in Sri Lanka has taken the initiative to promote fixed rate low cost financing for local businesses.
This will be done via the launch of International Executive Service Corps (IESC) AmCham Partnership for the facilitation of Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC) financing next month.
Details of this unique financing opportunity will be provided in detail at this launch on 1 February to be attended by IESC Vice President Charles Conconi who will be in Sri Lanka for this purpose.
The OPIC is the US Government’s primary development finance institution. It mobilises private capital to help solve critical world challenges through supporting private investments abroad by providing finances to small and medium enterprises.
The IESC is an Enterprise Development Network (EDN) Loan Originator certified by OPIC to provide advisory services to enterprises seeking long-term loans from OPIC.
The American Chamber of Commerce in Sri Lanka (AmCham) has been retained by IESC as a Consultant in promoting IESC as a Loan Originator.
The AmCham Board and US Embassy officials will also be in attendance to interact with the participants. For further information regarding registration contact the AmCham office on 2336073/4; email: [email protected].
