Workers’ remittances have declined by 7.2%, year-on-year in November to $ 515 million, Central Bank said on Friday.
On a cumulative basis, workers’ remittances declined by 5.9% to $ 6.05 billion during the first 11 months of 2019, compared to the corresponding period of 2018.
The dip in November comes after workers’ remittances grew by 1.3%, year-on-year, to $
607 million in October 2019 and by 3.3% year-on-year to $ 516 million in September 2019.
