Reversing the positive development observed in the last two months, workers’ remittances declined by 3.4%, year-on-year, to $ 580 million in May, the Central Bank revealed on Friday.
However, on cumulative terms, workers’ remittances increased by 3.3% to $ 3.1 billion during the first five months of 2018 in comparison to the corresponding period of 2017.
