The 31,000 strong team at Hayleys Group can now enjoy a working vacation from any Hayleys property around the country in a first time ‘Work from Hotel’ initiative offered by any Sri Lankan company.
With World Tourism Week placing the spotlight on buoying domestic tourism, Hayleys is encouraging its team to take advantage of work-vacations at The Kingsbury or any Amaya Resort, adding numerous work facilities into the properties including Zoom rooms to facilitate a seamless working environment.
Mentioning that even through a very challenging period the Hayleys Group performed admirably, Hayleys Chairman and Chief Executive Mohan Pandithage said: “These results are solely attributed to the highly motivated and unwavering commitment by our team across all 16 sectors. This last year has shown what our team is made of – an innovative mindset, positive attitude, thinking ahead and absolute passion. It is imperative that we appreciate their contribution by inviting them to experience the properties that they themselves have helped to build into the strong brands.”
He added that this ‘Work from Hotel’ initiative for the entirety of the Hayleys team augments the Group’s policy of good work-life balance.
While the team has special rates for their ‘Work from Hotel’ vacation, Hayleys Leisure is also extending some attractive rates to their customers for stays at The Kingsbury and Amaya Resorts & Spas, which has seven properties in its portfolio. The Kingsbury is offering double rooms at just Rs. 15,000 which includes Rs. 10,000 credit redeemable on F&B and a weekend night stay including Sunday brunch at Rs. 14,000.
The exclusive packages at Amaya Lake and Amaya Hills on weekdays are for Rs. 5,500 on half board and Rs. 6,500 full board per head, while weekend packages for half board are Rs. 6,500 and Rs. 7,500 on full board.
