The Women’s Chamber of Industry and Commerce will conduct one of its annual flagship properties – The Women Leadership Forum as a full-day workshop with very pertinent topics being discussed by veterans in business.
“We have tried to create a program capturing very relevant topics in an interesting and meaningful manner. It is our mission to create this forum annually sharing relevant knowledge effectively,” WCIC Chairperson Anoji De Silva said.
Elaborating on the concept and the format Project Chairpersons Tusitha Kumarakulasingam and Gayani De Alwis said: “We have structured this event connecting the IWD theme – Break the Bias for A Better Tomorrow. It has four segments, three of which have an expert conducting a session speech which will be followed by a panel discussion.”
The sessions are structured as follows – Session One “Break the Bias of Female Leadership” with Hemas Holdings Group CEO Kasturi Chellaraja delivering the keynote speech. The second session “Sustainability Begins with a Safe Environment Free From Gender Based Violence and Harassment” with Attorney-at-Law Naushalya Rajapakse delivering the session speech.
