Vitol gets $ 18.4 m deal to supply aviation fuel for SriLankan Airlines at Melbourne

The Cabinet has approved the awarding of a contract to Vitol Aviation BV to supply aviation fuel for SriLankan Airlines planes at the Melbourne Airport in Australia.

Limited international bidding procedure has been followed in purchasing aviation fuel for SriLankan Airlines Ltd, at the Melbourne Airport, Australia and Vitol Aviation BV has been selected as recommended by the Standing Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee.

The Cabinet has given its approval to the proposal made by the Minister of Tourism, to award the contract for the supply of fuel for the planes of the SriLankan Airlines Ltd. at Melbourne Airport, Australia, to Vitol Aviation BV to a total estimated cost of $ 18.47 million.
