Sri Lankan Airlines officials have been summoned to appear before the Committee on Public Enterprises (COPE) on 7 October, its Chairman MP Charitha Herath has said.
Matters pertaining to the report submitted to the COPE Committee by the State Ministry of Aviation and Export Zones Development regarding the investigations carried out when Sri Lankan Airlines Ltd. was previously summoned before the COPE Committee in July, is scheduled to be taken up for discussion.
COPE Committee Chairman Herath stated that a special committee meeting for the COPE members would be held tomorrow for a preliminary meeting on this matter.
