Organisers of the 21/4 Tribute Concert led by The International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) of Sri Lanka that is facilitating the Tribute Concert in aid of scholarships for 21 orphans are overwhelmed with the public support for the concert.
ICC Chairman Dinesh Weerakkody said: “This is a tribute to all those who lost their lives due to the senseless attack on Easter Sunday. Our message is of unity and whatever caste, religion or political party we belong to, we are firstly Sri Lankan.”
The concert is organised by ICC Sri Lanka, in partnership with BMICH, AIA Insurance, Cinnamon Life, Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), Daily Financial Times, BBDO Lanka, partnered by HNB and Derana TV and Mobitel. KPMG Chartered Accountants will be the Assurance partner.
The concert is named as ‘21/4 We Care’ and it is to represent Sri Lankans standing for the unity of their fellow citizens. The Organising Committee appreciates the contribution of the performers and sponsors for this worthy cause. The organisers have kept costs to the minimum to give the maximum benefit to the 21 children.
