UK-born international financier Nat Rothschild yesterday described Sri Lanka as “a true gem with a great future”.

The billionaire, who spent nearly two weeks on a business and leisure visit in Sri Lanka, shared his impressions and confidence on the country via a tweet before leaving yesterday.

Nat Rothschild (@NatRothschild1) tweeted: “Just finished a trip to learn firsthand about SL’s suitability as a manufacturing location for electronics. Came away highly impressed by Govt of Pres Rajapaksa and its pandemic response as well as the businesses I met. SL is a true gem with a great future. #GoSL #SriLanka.”
