Popular carrier Qatar Airways is to increase its services to Colombo from four to five times a week from January.
The expansion of flights to Colombo is part of Qatar Airways’’ move to add 66 weekly frequencies to 20 existing destinations in its network, due to strong market demand and the recent deliveries of more fuel-efficient aircraft.
The airline is expanding its network to 170 passenger destinations, further consolidating its position as one of the world’s most connected airlines.
Last week SriLankan Airlines enhanced its codeshare agreement with Qatar as well.
