Power and Energy Minister seeks technical assistance from WB

Power and Energy Minister Kanchana Wijesekera yesterday met with World Bank Country Manager Chiyo Kanda and a team of the World Bank Technical Experts on energy to discuss development plans.

Taking to Twitter, he said they discussed the proposed reform plans of the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) and the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) as well.

Minister Wijesekera also said the financial assistance for development, renewable energy, and transformation of the energy sector was discussed.
