The Sri Lanka Ports Authority, Airports and Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) Company and the Civil Aviation Authority have jointly contributed Rs. 2 billion to the Government’s Consolidated Fund.
Officials of the three State institutions officially handed over the check for Rs. 2 billion for the Government’s Consolidated Fund to President Ranil Wickramasinghe at the President’s Office yesterday, President’s Media Division said.
Sri Lanka Port Authority has contributed Rs. 1 billion, and the Airports and Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) Ltd. and the Civil Aviation Authority have offered Rs. 500 million each for the Government Consolidated Fund.
Ports, Shipping and Aviation Services Minister Nimal Siripala de Silva, Ministry of Finance Secretary Mahinda Siriwardena, Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Aviation Services Secretary K.D.S. Ruwanchandra, Sri Lanka Ports Authority Chairman Keith D. Bernard, Airports and Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) Company Chairman Retired Major General G.A. Chandrasiri, Civil Aviation Authority Director General P.A. Jayakantha and others participated in this event.
