The Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka (PUCSL) will hold discussions with the Condominium Management Authority (CMA) today to find solutions for the ongoing energy crisis.
“There are many apartments in Colombo that are all operated with air conditioners. We will discuss with CMA to find out if they could be asked to use their standby generators during peak hours, to lessen the burden on the national grid,” PUCSL Chairman Janaka Ratnayake said yesterday.
He said if the standby generators in the country can come forward to help, it will be a great support to manage the transmission throughout the country.
