Winners of the 29th Campaign Asia Pacific’s ‘Agency of the Year Awards’ were announced in Mumbai recently and the Ogilvy Group Sri Lanka continued its winning streak at the highly respected awards show this year, with silver and bronze awards.
Phoenix Ogilvy bagged the Silver Award in the category titled ‘Rest of South Asia Advertising Agency of the Year’, an accolade given for outstanding business performance during the year.
The highly competitive category ‘Rest of South Asia Digital Agency of the Year’, saw Ogilvy Digital bagging the Bronze Award.
Campaign Asia Pacific’s Agency of the Year Awards is the most important awards show of the region, and celebrates the exceptional performances of media, advertising, creative, digital and PR agencies.
This year’s edition of the awards show brought together a jury of highly experienced industry veterans from across the Asia-Pacific region to select the most progressive and successful agencies in the territory.
The latest win is the 5th consecutive year the 280 strong Ogilvy group was recognised by the awards show as a high performing and innovative agency in Sri Lanka.
“The Ogilvy Group successfully withstood all adversities of the business climate during some of the worst years in the recent history of the country, which rendered Sri Lanka bankrupt,” said Ogilvy Group Chairman Irvin Weerackody. “The stability of our group, across all disciplines of Creative, Digital, PR and Media buying and their ability to excel during these challenging times is a feat in itself. We have been agile, innovative, and strategic at all points these past few years and are steady in our growth and business performance.”
The Ogilvy Group has been winning at the Campaign Asia Agency of the Year Awards show since 2016 and the total tally of metals under its belt now stands at 10.
