Separate meetings will be held with officials of industrial export and investment promotion as well as tourism and aviation at the ministry premises at the World Trade Centre.

Minister Ranatunga sought for revival strategies of four key sectors last week. The key objective of the discussion is to re-activate these institutions with a short- and long-term strategies to understand the current situation and iron out the issues pertaining to tourism, investment promotion, export development and aviation sectors.

Following the discussions with the officials, Ranatunga plans to redirect same with the Government and implement the proposals promptly.

The Ministry also plans to implement separate and joint programs for the quick revival of the industries whilst Ranatunga commended the initiatives launched by the Government to help the industries and enterprises.
