Minister Kanchana seeks CID probe on CPC Group

Power and Energy Minister Kanchana Wijesekera yesterday complained to the CID to investigate the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) and Ceylon Petroleum Storage Terminals Ltd. (CPSTL) activities.In a tweet, the Minister said the CID was requested to investigate fuel procurement, evaluation of proposals, non-placement of orders, selection of suppliers, delays in payments, distribution irregularities and allegations made by individuals.
