Meta, formerly known as the Facebook company, is expanding its annual Marketing Summit to more countries in Asia Pacific, including Sri Lanka.
The Summit scheduled for today will bring together global and regional leaders to explore and discuss technologies and trends impacting businesses at present.
The theme for this year’s Marketing Summit is ‘Where today meets tomorrow’. It will feature opening addresses by Meta VP - Global Business Marketing Michelle Klein and Vice President for Southeast Asia and Emerging Markets Benjamin Joe who will speak about the future of the metaverse and opportunities for businesses.
During the virtual event, leaders at Meta will discuss the company’s core mission to build products that help people connect, find communities and grow businesses. They will also share some of the initiatives to drive digital upskilling and shine a light on inspiring businesses that have reinvented their business models to adapt to challenges.
“Our annual Summit is an exciting opportunity for people to exchange ideas and form meaningful connections with others, and to help them navigate the challenges of tomorrow. We are excited to dive into the key trends and technologies to help businesses and communities discover opportunities for growth,” said Meta Asia Pacific Director for Emerging Markets Jordi Fornies.
