Members file case against NEGC committee for violating constitution

Members of the Nuwara Eliya Golf Club (NEGC) have filed a case in the District Court of Nuwara Eliya yesterday against the NEGC’s two Trustees, President and the entire Committee and Secretaries for violating the NEGC Constitution and spending money without their approval. The case has been filed because the Committee has violated Clause 2 (e) of the NEGC Constitution, which does not allow the Committee to spend more than Rs. 500,000 for any project without the permission of its members.
