The Ministry of Energy has granted permission to the Lanka IOC, subsidiary of the Indian Oil Corporation in Sri Lanka, to open 50 new filling stations, the company said.
LIOC Managing Director Manoj Gupta confirmed in his announcement that the Minister of Energy has approved the installation of the 50 filling stations in various parts of the country.
The new filling stations are expected to be opened in the near future. Currently, Lanka IOC company has 211 filling stations operating in the island.
