Illuminating cheer of Christmas and New Year

On the advice of President Ranil Wickremesinghe, Tourism Minister Harin Fernando is spearheading the lighting up and beautification of Colombo city to spread the cheer of Christmas and the New Year. Here the view of a lit-up Presidential Secretariat and Galle Face with a message to tourists to visit Sri Lanka. These two sites drew global spotlight between March and August this year owing to the people’s uprising “Aragalaya” (See more pix on p9)
