The Government has raised $ 470 million via Sri Lanka Development Bonds (SLDBs) with tenor ranging 2 to 5 years.
At the $ 500 million SLDB auctions held yesterday the Central Bank accepted bids worth $ 149.17 million on five year tenor with a a Weighted Average Margin (bps) over 6-month LIBOR (floating) of 404.81 out of $ 152.22 million bids received and $ 114.6 million of 3 year tenor with a Weighted Average margin of 365.18 out of $ 127.6 million bids received. On the 4 year tenor bids of $ 117.6 million, around $ 113.6 million were accepted at 368.13 Weighted Average Margin. The Central Bank also accepted $ 93.15 million out of $ 129.27 million bids received for 2 years at 305.39 Weighted Average.
